Wave action, boat wake and rising and falling water quietly pull your bank into the waterway. Left alone it takes yard, then trees, then whatever you have built near the edge. A properly engineered bulkhead stops that, holds your grade and gives you a clean, usable waterfront edge again.
We build bulkheads and sea walls in treated timber and sheet pile, tie them back correctly, and cap them so they finish clean. Where a lot is too tight for heavy machinery — a narrow side yard, an established backyard, a canal lot hemmed in by neighbors — we install bulkheads manually rather than telling you it cannot be done.

The usual signs are a bank that keeps sliding into the water, exposed tree roots at the water line, a shoreline that has visibly moved in over the years, or an existing wall that is leaning outward. If you are seeing any of those, the shoreline is actively moving and it will not stop on its own.
Yes. Manual bulkhead installation is something we specialise in. On tight canal lots, established backyards and narrow side yards where an excavator will never fit, we install by hand rather than turning the job down.
Pressure-treated southern pine is our standard for framing and decking, and we also build in composite decking when you want a low-maintenance surface. Structural pilings are driven to depth for the soil conditions on your site.
We do. Along with residential canal and lakefront lots we have bulkheaded entire recreational lakes and retention ponds, including the shoreline restoration and regrading behind the wall.
